DashEase (“DashEase,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a software platform that helps users upload business data, connect supported data sources, and create dashboards, charts, and analytics views. 1. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide directly
We may collect information you provide to us, including:

- Business information you choose to upload or enter into the platform

b. Data you upload or connect
DashEase allows users to upload files and datasets and may allow users to connect third-party systems such as QuickBooks and other supported integrations. Through those uploads and connections, we may process:

- Metadata related to datasets, dashboards, charts, and connected accounts

We may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

- Approximate location derived from IP address

2. How We Use Information
We use information we collect to:

3. QuickBooks and Other Third-Party Integrations
If you choose to connect a third-party service such as QuickBooks, you authorize DashEase to access and process data made available through that integration in accordance with the permissions you grant.
For QuickBooks integrations, DashEase may access accounting-related data needed to display dashboards, charts, analytics, and related business intelligence views. We store integration credentials and tokens server-side and take reasonable steps to protect them. Sensitive integration secrets are not intended to be exposed to the client-side application.
We use data obtained through connected integrations only to provide and support the Services requested by the user, including synchronization, reporting, analytics, troubleshooting, and security.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on your location, we may process personal information based on one or more of the following grounds:
- Performance of a contract with you
- Your consent
- Our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services
- Compliance with legal obligations
5. How We Share Information

Integration tokens and other sensitive credentials should be stored in encrypted or otherwise protected form on the server side.

If you disconnect an integration, delete uploaded data, or close your account, certain information may remain in backups, logs, or records for a limited period where reasonably necessary for security, legal, compliance, or operational reasons.
